Individual Psychotherapy

thumb labyrinthSometimes, some of us need help navigating a particular difficulty or life transition we encounter but we may not want or be ready to do analysis. Sometimes we find ourselves depressed, anxious, or trying to cope with some other set of symptoms that are more than we can or should deal with alone.

At times these feelings or experiences seem to arise spontaneously and come out of nowhere. Other times we can link them to significant life transitions such as the birth of a child, the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, the "nest" emptying, retirement, and more.

As a clinician with more than 25 years of experience, I have worked successfully with a broad range of mental health challenges and symptoms. Themes and issues with which I frequently work include:

  • dream work
  • spirituality
  • sexuality, including LGBT people
  • depression, anxiety and stress
  • academic problems
  • relationships and couples
  • parenting
  • men's and women's issues
  • families and individuals experiencing physical illness
  • grief, mourning, and loss.
